Seminar on “Nano Science in Drug Delivery” Conducted at NET Pharmacy College, Raichur
The Department of Pharmaceutics, NET Pharmacy College, Raichur, organized a seminar on “Nano Science in Drug Delivery” on 12th May 2026 at Lecture Hall III under the guidance of IQAC. The seminar aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the emerging role of nanotechnology in modern drug delivery systems and pharmaceutical research.
The session was graced by Dr. N.M. Vageesh as the resource person. The program was convened by Dr. Sarfaraz Md. The event began with the inauguration ceremony followed by bouquet presentation to the dignitaries. Dr. H. Doddaya presided over the program and addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of advanced drug delivery approaches in the pharmaceutical field.
The speaker introduction was delivered by Mr. C. Muralikrishna Goud. During the seminar, Dr. N.M. Vageesh delivered an informative session on the applications of nanoscience in targeted drug delivery, nano-carriers, improved therapeutic efficacy, and recent advancements in nanotechnology-based pharmaceutical formulations. The session provided students with valuable insights into innovative drug delivery systems and current research trends in pharmaceutics.
Students actively participated in the interactive session and clarified their queries regarding nanotechnology applications in healthcare and medicine. A memento was presented to the speaker as a token of appreciation for sharing his expertise and knowledge with the students.
