Industrial Visit to Shilpa Pharma Life Sciences by N.E.T. Pharmacy College Students

An industrial visit to Shilpa Pharma Life Sciences was organized on 11th June 2026 for the students of N.E.T. Pharmacy College, Raichur, to provide practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and industrial operations. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and industrial practices in the pharmaceutical sector.

During the visit, students were introduced to various departments including Production, Quality Control, Packaging, Warehouse Facilities, and the Purified Water Plant Unit. Company officials explained the manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), quality assurance procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory standards followed by the industry. Students also gained knowledge about advanced analytical instruments, industrial hygiene, waste management systems, and modern pharmaceutical technologies used in large-scale manufacturing.

The visit was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Chandramouli and Dr. Sunil Kumar. Their guidance helped students understand the practical applications of pharmaceutical chemistry concepts in industrial settings.

The industrial visit proved to be highly informative and beneficial, enhancing students’ understanding of pharmaceutical production, quality management systems, industrial discipline, and career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry.
