Report on Special Lecture: Exploring Pharmaceutical Numerical Concepts
A special lecture on “Exploring Pharmaceutical Numerical Concepts” was organized by the Department of Pharmaceutics, N.E.T Pharmacy College, on 15th April 2026 at 03:00 PM in Lecture Hall 01.
The program commenced with anchoring by Mr. Rakshith, a III Semester M.Pharm student, who efficiently guided the event and maintained a smooth flow throughout the session.
The event began with a Welcome speech delivered by Dr. Rajesh Pavan, who warmly welcomed the Chairperson for Inaugural Session, speakers, faculty members, and students. He emphasized the importance of numerical concepts in pharmaceutical sciences and their practical applications.
The Chairperson for Inaugural Session Dr. Chandramouli, Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, addressed the gathering. He shared valuable insights on the significance of analytical thinking and numerical skills in pharmaceutical research and industry. His words motivated students to strengthen their fundamentals and approach problem-solving with clarity.
The main session was conducted by Resource Person Dr. Pradnya B. Patil, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics for D Pharm I & II year, Pharm D I & III year students. She delivered an informative and engaging lecture covering key pharmaceutical numerical concepts. Her session was highly interactive, encouraging students to actively participate, ask questions, and solve problems during the lecture. This made the session both effective and intellectually stimulating.
Towards the end of the program, a vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Murali Krishna Goud, who expressed gratitude to the Convener, Chairperson, Resource Person, faculty members, and participants for making the event successful.
The session was followed by an assessment, which helped evaluate the understanding of students regarding the concepts discussed. Overall, the program was interactive, informative, and beneficial, enhancing students’ knowledge and interest in pharmaceutical calculations.
