World Cervical Cancer Awareness Month Program
As part of World Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, the Department of Pharmacy Practice, N.E.T. Pharmacy College, organized an academic program on 24 January 2026.
On this occasion, Pharm D interns Mr. Aditya and Mr. Rizwan actively contributed by presenting a journal presentation and seminar related to cervical cancer, highlighting its clinical aspects, prevention, and current evidence-based practices. The presentations were informative and well-received, promoting awareness and academic discussion among the participants.
The program was attended by Mr. Binu K.M., Associate Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacy Practice, along with faculty members of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharm D students. Their presence and interaction added academic value to the session.
The event was smoothly anchored by Ms. Sumayya, Pharm D Intern, who ensured effective coordination and engagement throughout the program.
Overall, the program was informative and educational, successfully enhancing awareness about cervical cancer and reinforcing the importance of preventive healthcare among future pharmacy professionals.
