World Cancer Day 2026 Program at N.E.T Pharmacy College | Advancements in Cancer Therapy
The Department of Pharmacy Practice, N.E.T. Pharmacy College, successfully organized a World Cancer Day 2026 program under the theme “United by Unique”, featuring a lecture on Advancements in Cancer Therapy.
The session was graced by Dr. H. Doddayya, Principal, Mr. Binu K M, HOD – Pharmacy Practice, along with faculty members, Pharm D, and B Pharm students.
We were privileged to have Mrs. I. Aparna Lakshmi, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology, as the resource person. She delivered an insightful lecture highlighting the cancer burden in India, recent breakthroughs in targeted therapy, and the growing impact of immunotherapy in modern cancer management.
The program was highly informative and enhanced students’ understanding of emerging trends in oncology therapeutics.
