A total of 39 students participated in the visit, divided into two batches across the two days to ensure effective learning and meaningful interaction.
During the posting, students observed wound dressing procedures, visited the maternity ward, and examined various educational leaflets and posters focusing on the management of diabetes and hypertension. They also engaged in discussions on patient counseling and hygiene maintenance with doctors, interns, and other healthcare professionals, who highlighted the importance of proper care and effective communication in patient treatment.
This clinical exposure provided students with valuable insights into the role of pharmacists in healthcare delivery, enhanced their understanding of practical aspects of community health, and strengthened their knowledge through real-life medical experiences.
