Principal Dr. H. Doddayya Honoured with the State-Level Eminent Pharmacist Award
It is a proud moment for the Navodaya Education Trust as Dr. H. Doddayya, Principal of N.E.T. Pharmacy College, has been honored with the State-Level Eminent Pharmacist Award by the Government of Karnataka.
The award was presented during the World Pharmacist Day celebration (30/09/2025) held in Bengaluru, jointly organized by the Karnataka State Pharmacy Council and the Department of Food Safety and Drug Administration. This marks the first time the Government of Karnataka has instituted this prestigious recognition for outstanding contributions to the field of pharmacy.
Dr. Doddayya received the award from Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, in recognition of his 38 years of exemplary service in pharmacy education, research, and professional leadership. His lifelong dedication to advancing pharmaceutical sciences and nurturing future pharmacists has left a lasting impact on both academia and the healthcare community.
The ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Shri K. Srinivas, Commissioner, Department of Food Safety and Drug Administration; Shri Umesh S., Assistant Drug Controller; Dr. Kranti Kumar Shirase, Registrar, Karnataka State Pharmacy Council; and Dr. Ashok Malpani, Dean, Pharmacy Division, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
On this proud occasion, Shri S. R. Reddy, Chairman, Navodaya Education Trust, along with the directors of all divisions, principals of sister institutions, faculty members, and non-teaching staff of N.E.T. Pharmacy College, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Doddayya for this remarkable achievement.
