Mr. Vishwa Simha Reddy, Pharm D Intern of NET Pharmacy College, Raichur, has brought pride to the institution by representing Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, at prestigious national and state-level sports events.

 

He represented RGUHS in the All India Inter-University Ball Badminton Men’s Tournament, held at Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, during the academic year 2025–26. Demonstrating commendable performance at the national level, the RGUHS team secured a Round 1 victory against Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Rajasthan. In the subsequent match, the team competed against Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapur, and concluded the tournament after a tough and well-fought contest. His participation at the national level provided valuable competitive exposure and experience.

 

In addition, Mr. Vishwa Simha Reddy also represented and captained the Raichur Table Tennis Team at the State Olympics 2026, held from January 18 to 20, 2026. Under his leadership, the Raichur team performed admirably and reached the quarterfinals, where they faced Bengaluru and exited after a closely contested match. In the singles category, he advanced up to the pre-quarterfinals, showcasing consistent skill and competitive spirit.
