Mission

To advance, align, and execute R&D initiatives across faculty, research scholars, and students to foster impactful research, creative advancement, and innovative outcomes.

Objectives

To cultivate and advance a robust research culture that inspires innovative and critical thinking among faculty members, research scholars, and students.
To systematically monitor, mentor and enhance the quality of research undertaken by UG, PG, and Ph.D. scholars, ensuring alignment with emerging trends and future academic and industry demands.
To strategically plan, promote, and coordinate research workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and Short-Term Training Programs (STTPs) aimed at strengthening research competencies.
To identify, evaluate, and disseminate relevant research opportunities available across academic institutions, industries, and government organizations to the research community.
To build awareness and offer guidance to research scholars and students regarding various funding schemes provided by government and private organizations and to encourage active participation in grant applications.
To promote, support, and facilitate the publication of high-quality research outputs in esteemed, high-impact journals and reputable academic conferences.
To assist NETPC Research Departments in planning and organizing national and international conferences, conventions, symposia, workshops and seminars that enhance scholarly engagement.
To establish and strengthen Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with eminent research institutions to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and joint research initiatives.
To foster meaningful industry–institute partnerships across all research departments, thereby bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial requirements to better address societal challenges.
To provide NETPC and its allied institutions with comprehensive, solution-oriented research services and state-of-the-art infrastructure that promote innovation and support the translation of scientific discoveries into impactful applications.
To advance consultancy and research services at NETPC, establishing the institution as a preferred collaborator for research organizations and industry partners.

Additional Mandates of the R&D Cell

To develop state-of-the-art research facilities and foster a strong research culture among students and research scholars.
Review, supervise and monitor the research progress of candidates enrolled in PG and Ph.D. programs.
To evaluate and scrutinize minor and major research project proposals prior to submission to national and state-level funding agencies.
To oversee and assess the progress of sponsored research projects, ensuring timely and quality outcomes.
Promote and facilitate multidisciplinary research initiatives and support the establishment of technology incubation centres and start-ups.
Encourage faculty members of NETPC and affiliated institutions to pursue Ph.D. programs under the aegis of NETPC and its affiliating university.
Prepare and implement an annual research activity plan encompassing all academic and research departments.
To organize regular workshops on scientific writing, manuscript preparation, and research project documentation.
Conduct hands-on training sessions on the use of advanced research equipment for students and research scholars.
