Orientation Program on NAAC

An Orientation Program on NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) was conducted on 26th September 2025 at 3:00 PM in the AV Room, Central Library (First Floor). The session was led by Dr. Venkatachalam, NAAC Coordinator, NIT, who provided an insightful and detailed explanation of the NAAC process.

The program was graced by the presence of senior leadership including:

• Dr. Amruth Reddy – Director of Operations

• Dr. Suresh Babu – Director of Administration

• Dr. Vijay Kumar – Director, IP & SA

• Dr. Rama Mohan Gupta – Director, Academic Development & Research

• Dr. H. Doddayya – Principal, N.E.T Pharmacy College

• Dr. Hetzy Suthana Kumari – Principal, Navodaya Nursing College

Faculty members from both Pharmacy and Nursing Colleges, along with NAAC criteria coordinators, actively participated in the program.

The session began with an introductory address by Dr. Rama Mohan Gupta, who emphasized the importance of NAAC accreditation and officially announced the allocation of criteria members, coordinators, and overall NAAC coordinators/assistant coordinators for both colleges.

Following this, Dr. Venkatachalam delivered a comprehensive presentation on the NAAC framework, highlighting the preparatory steps, specific requirements, and a detailed explanation of each criterion. Faculty members raised queries during the session, all of which were addressed with clarity and practical insights.

Adding to the motivation, Dr. Vijay Kumar encouraged faculty to begin preparations proactively and manage time efficiently, while Dr. Suresh Babu stressed the importance of teamwork and balancing academic duties with NAAC-related responsibilities.

The program concluded on a positive note, with a clear roadmap laid out for systematic preparations towards NAAC accreditation, ensuring collective commitment from faculty and leadership alike.
